Recovering Hope was started in 2012 with a singular purpose: to support the Casa del Buen Trato shelter and its staff in their mission to lead these young survivors of abuse out of darkness to a faithful path of recovery. In addition to leading an annual trip of volunteers to serve at the shelter, we have committed to supporting the salaries of several crucial staff members that provide legal, psychological and social work support for the girls.

MISSION.

Recovering Hope partners with the Casa del Buen Trato shelter in Huanuco, Peru to provide support and encouragement to the staff and residents.

 

VISION.

Our hope is that every resident at the shelter would receive the best possible care and be able to return to a safe home.

We serve as Christ-followers, to provide support and encouragement to the staff and residents at the shelter. We believe that it is our long-term relationship with the staff at the shelter that brings hope to the young women and children we serve there.
